Record Keeping
Work credits will be assigned by the organizer and recorded for the designated committee member. At the event for which the member volunteered his/her time, a voucher will be given directly to the member for the member's records. Members do not need to send copies of their voucher to the committee member, or to the Awards Committee, which will retain a record of all work credits earned.
Year End Awards
In order to qualify for end of year awards, members must earn 2 full work credits during the year for which they wish to qualify. One-half work credit must have been earned at an MDA show. Generally, one-half work credit equals four hours of work. One full credit generally equals eight hours of work. The president may award additional work credits at her discretion.
Redeeming Work Credits Members may use work credits to offset the cost of show entry fees and other designated activities, such as the Awards Banquet. When redeemed as fees, the value of one full work credit is $10.00, and one-half work credit is $5.00. Once a work credit has been redeemed, it will be deducted from your Service Award total. Redeemed  work credits will still count towards all other awards. Earned work credits are valid for one year from the earned date.
